At CrossFit Midland, we are all about making you better athletes and giving you the knowledge to improve your skills. It is tough to spend enough time practicing and perfecting certain movements and skills in the fast-paced group classes or during a WOD, so for this reason, we are pleased to announce a new weekly “Skills Class.”

Each class will focus on a particular skill (advertised throughout the week) and will involve:

  • Movement breakdown
  • Progressions
  • Advanced variations of movements
  • The chance to practice the movement and get a greater level of instruction

After completion of class, you will leave with a handful of drills that you can perform on your own time to increase your skill capacity and work towards advancing to the next level of that skill. Examples of skills worked on during class might include: cleans, snatches, pull-ups, muscle-ups, etc.

The Skills Class will be offered on Tuesdays at 11:15 AM (limit of 10 people/class) and the cost is $10/class. You will need to sign up in advance on Zenplanner to reserve your spot each week. The first class will meet next week on Tues, July 18th and we will work on the receiving position for cleans and snatches.
